Café Belga
Trendy bar located on the groundfloor of the boat-shaped building of the old National Institute for Radio Broadcasting. This 50's building was recently restored and became a cultural center (concert hall, audiovisual center, shows etc.). -
Le Cercueil
This is not a typical Brussels cafe but it is very original... Drink a beer out of a glass in the form of skull.. while listening to the 5th symphony of Mozart... Customers are mainly tourists, students, Goths and horror fans.

Goupil Le Fol
From outside, this nice place (close to Grand Place) looks a bit suspect, but venture inside, and you'll find the empire of French Chanson. The walls are plastered with old vinyl and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly. -
Le Roi des Belges
Located on the famous St Gery place, Le Roi des Belges is a nice place to have a drink or a quick lunch. You'll find there a mix of tourists and local people, and if the atmosphere is quiet during the day, at night you'll often shake your body on a rocking music. -
Le Tavernier
Undoubtedly the trendiest place in the area around the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Despite a vast terrace area and interior space, it’s not always easy to find somewhere to sit. Not to worry, you can always lean on the bar and order a local Vedett or sway your hips to the jazz-break beats that throb out there almost every weekend evening...
